HP Company Logo Mike Young is Sales Development Manager for Hewlett Packard's Colorado Communications Operation, the world leader in data communications test equipment. Mike is responsible for the sales success of the HP Internet Advisor and will use WebCD for sales training events and as a customer leave-behind.

"WebCD simplifies my job immensely. It allows me to more efficiently disseminate in-depth training materials, even video. For less than it costs to fly to San Jose I can produce and deliver a WebCD training kit to 100 Field Engineers. I can easily bring up our Web site on CD and talk from it and show them a little movie. I can also live-link to the corporate Web site and teach my sales team how to use the product information. Plus WebCD offers my sales force and customers more rapid access to any information they want."

VNI Company Logo Visual Numerics is celebrating its 25th year in the software industry. Founded in 1970 as IMSL, Inc., Visual Numerics emerged in December of 1992 as a result of the merger of Houston-based IMSL and Boulder, Colorado-based Precision Visuals, Inc. The company provides industry-leading and mission-critical decision support software tools for enterprise solutions in business, engineering, research and education worldwide. Development operations are located in Houston and Boulder centers.

"MarketScape is meeting the needs of a large untapped market. WebCD can help us prevent users from dropping off our busy Web site by taking a load off the server. It also lets us deliver more information to our users by putting all of the content of our website right into their hands, and my sales people now have everything they need when visiting a customer. WebCD is a practical means to solve the Internet bandwidth problem associated with delivering rich graphics and large software files including user libraries, patches and product updates. Without WebCD, you lose the full potential of the Web experience."

Space Imaging Company Logo Space Imaging is the world's first commercial company to offer the unique combination of high-resolution, high-accuracy, up-to-date space imagery and related geographic information products to commercial customers around the world. The company isn't waiting until 1997, when its first satellite is launched. Space Imaging's new generation of earth information is available today through its line of CARTERRA products and services.

"WebCD provides an excellent sales and marketing tool that Space Imaging plans to use for a variety of applications -sales calls, visits with strategic partners, and stand-alone demos at trade shows. Our international sales force is already using WebCD to conveniently carry much of our company's marketing collateral. It's an advantage that our vice president of sales and marketing terms "reducing the size of the suitcase." Our first version of WebCD contains our entire Web site, our corporate video, and an advanced software tool for viewing our high-resolution imagery. A big value we see in WebCD is the ability to carry all these tools together - we like to term it "home page plus." We will eventually include our computer-based corporate demonstration. All of these large image files - the core of our business - appear much faster when running off the CD. WebCD eliminates the need for the high-bandwidth Internet connection required to display large images via the Web."

WYLE Wyle Electronics is a leading international electronics distributor, specializing in marketing semiconductors and computer products, as well as providing value-added services, which include complex materials management systems and engineering design services for ASIC products and programmable logic devices.

My company, Wyle Electronics, just recently acquired an evaluation copy of the Marketscape product to put our Intranet on CD. We have been extremely impressed with your product and all of its capabilities. But more so, we were impressed with the outstanding customer service and dedication of Rose Ena Gonzalez. When we had a few startup glitches with one of our machines, Rose Ena's follow up to resolve this issue was nothing less than outstanding! Also, when we ran into a few glitches getting the bookmarks to show up, Rose Ena researched the problem, directed us to your FTP site and pointed us to the patch that would correct this.
